The Pit is a group, blog & ‘zine, which features bodyboarding &
seascape photography and videography from the South African coastline.
Although there are a few well-established bodyboarding magazines that feature the best shots to come out
of the country, some really great photos and videos are lost in the archives. The Pit looks to bridge the gap
between amateur and professional, double page spread and the Facebook album shared with friends.
The Pit looks to feature great photo and video content that deserves to be shared with the world.
The Pit is a platform that appreciates the pros, and encourages the amateurs, for the love of bodyboarding.
Having run for 2 years between 2012 & 2014, The Pit is now dead.
